Like all surgeries, a tummy tuck incision takes time to heal, and time is the best healer.
Most plastic surgeons recommend waiting 6 months to a year before getting a tummy tuck tattoo. this period of time ensures that the scar has fully healed, that there is no risk of infection, and that it is safe to traumatize the skin with a tattoo.
Does a tummy tuck tattoo hurt?
everyone has their own pain threshold, so it’s hard to say how much a tummy tuck tattoo will hurt.
